...the shoe is at the lower end of the shimano range but offers great value for money when picked up on - line at end of season sales.
Tough suede and rubber shell with cambrelle lining makes for a comfortable shoe, both laces and velcro strap offer adequete fastenings and it looks pretty good, a stiff sole allows fairly comfortable walking when needed.
Sizing can be a problem due to the ridiclues small system that cycleshoes go by. Its a narrow shoe so make sure not only length but width is accounted for when choosing.Roughly 1 to 2 sizes above normal shoe size should be okay.

Advantages: Strong, well made, functional Disadvantages: Nothing yet.
...SPD INTRO
Shimano M072 shoes are SPD cyclingshoes so here's a quick explanation of what SPD is.
For those who may not know SPD stands for Shimano Pedaling Dynamic. All very nice I hear you say, so to explain they are Clipless pedals. Basically you get a pair of shoes, bolt on some clips to the shoes, get a pair of SPD pedals which are like a clamp, step on the pedals and your feet are locked to the pedals. Considering I cycle up and down the buisiest buss route in Britain every day my safety is of paramount importance. So when buying this helmet my main concern was how much protection it offers to my head, followed closley by comfort and finally cost.
Specialized have an exceptionally good reputation, and most of the helmets on sale at my local bike shop provide about the same amount of head protection. So really the decision came down to which one was the most comfortable. This Helmet was the most comfortable one I tried on and at a cost of £30 there is no real room for complaint.
On top of the comfort it also has a visor which...
