I bought this after seeing an advert on a website, reading reviews here, and then finding the product on ebay for only £6.

It consists of a pad to which you attach the control module and a elastic belt with velcro to attach it to the pad.

I read the instructions carefully, which I recommend everyone to do. The first time I used it, I used too much conductive gel but it's better to be covered in gel than feel pain!

After putting gel on the pad, you attach it to the part of the body you want to exercise (in my case my stomach muscles) with the elastic belt. It took a few attempts to get the belt the right way so it was all velcro-ed together!

I started on the lowest level recommended in the book and prepared for the worst. As it turned out, it wasn't very unpleasant at all, just a bit strange and I quickly becamse used to the sensation. Level 2 was also fine, but when I tried level 3 I REALLY felt my muscles contract. This is obviously effective but takes some getting used to!

One thing I found was that it was hard to place the pad exactly where I wanted, it tended to slip up to my waist so I had to be a bit careful about moving around. It is good if you are sitting still watching TV or similar.

After 10 minutes the device automatically turns off but it recommends 30 minutes a day so I just restarted it. It is quite useful as it stops you over-doing it but a bit annoying you can't extend the time it runs for without needivery ng to restart.

Pros: a very cheap device, different workout levels been you can work at a pace to suit you.
Cons: no diagrams in the instruction leaflet and more details would be nice in some places, belt design means it can be hard to reach the muscles you want to exercise.

A couple of weeks later...
-----------------------------------
I found I could move up through the levels quite easily. What is slightly annoying is this product doesn't remember which strength you were on before so you always have to press the button multiple times when you start it.

Some bit sof the leaflet are plainly wrong, for example it says not to use around the neck and then there is a diagram saying that using it here can give a nice massage! It also suggests using the deviceon your back to tone your stomach?!

SO, has it made much difference? It certainly feels like the muscles round my stomach have been exercised once I've used this product, but I haven't notcied any dramatic improvements yet.

I'm a bit scared of these machines, but yours does sound like a bargain, I guess I'll just stick to the sit-ups! :) xxx
