I am in the middle of a mid life crisis, my half way on average to death birthday (that’s 35) is a rapidly diminishing memory, and at X-mass my Niece was calling me Uncle Beergut. She was right to do so as I had ballooned to almost 18 stone, now as I am tall and have a large frame it could be a respectable weight to be if you have the right kind of weight, unfortunately I didn't.
Drastic steps needed to be taken and they were: -
1: - not snacking between meals 2: - having a healthy breakfast, which helps prevent number 1 3: - eating healthy sandwiches for lunch. 4: - having a sensible meal for tea 5: - no Kebabs no matter how tempting and delicious they look. 6: - reducing beer intake and increasing whisky intake to compensate for all the other horrible things I have to do. 7: - Rather than only cycling to and from the pub at night, start risking life and limb cycling to and from work every day. A round trip of 7 miles.
With this eight-part plan in action I managed to get down to 15.5 stone in the first two months of the year, but my belly still is non-toned. My leg muscles and bum are awesome now though. I have been letting girls feel them as often as good taste and public decency dictates.
My abdomen obviously needs work and I am too lazy to actually do silly things like sit-ups cause they hurt.
This is where this little beastie comes in I got it off ebay for £6-99 plus £2-50 p&p. A veritable bargain when you compare it to the slendertone belts that cost up to 100 quid. (Just type in slendertone into an ebay search and it will come up).
This belt works by passing a low current through the muscle group selected, but take note it will not give you a six-pack without doing other exercises and dieting properly.
The instructions are pretty straight forward and there is a list of the different types of exercise you can do, from a deep massage to a strenuous??? Workout. I don't honestly think that these make any difference at all so I will not bother talking about them. The one thing that improves matters and makes it a lot more comfortable is using a water based gel (or lube) between the belt and you flesh, this improves the contact and hence comfort when you are electrocuting yourself.
There are also 10 power selections at first you really notice anything above the first power level so I advise caution here when starting off. You do soon get the hang of these selections and I have been increasing the power gradually always making sure that I am comfortable with the power being used. Level 10 will make you scream like a split pig.
Also in the instructions there is a diagram of the various parts of the body that you can attach it to, which thankfully excluded the genitals. I am concentrating on my abs. I have tried it on my arms as well, which is an interesting experience, as you start involuntary contracting muscles over the whole of your arm.
So what is my opinion of this thing well I have been using it for 6 weeks now and there is an improvement in the tone of my abdomen, but no six-pack yet, but by beer belly is less obvious. I'm not honestly sure if it is the result of this little beastie or not.
My recent midlife crisis has resulted in me eating a lot of healthier foods (chocolate biscuits excepted), and doing more exercise, so this could be the reason for my improved muscle tone.
I can't honestly say if this belt has improved things or not but it not difficult to use and I can sit and watch telly whilst it is working so it can't be doing any harm? but is it doing any good? My impression is that it does slightly improve tone but nothing else.
(do not use if you have a heart condition do not use these things)

You really made me laugh there! The Point Plan sounded good! I bought one of these off Ebay for, with p+p, about £4.50 altogether - it didn't last very long - mind you I used it about 100X a day - really wanted good abs without the work, lazy bum! Anyway, excellent op! xx
