Advantages: Hits the ball a long way with a high degree of accuracy Disadvantages: Quite expensive (But not the dearest on the market!)
...” that makes for a good sound bite in advertisements. What is a fact is that the clubface on the Adams woods is slightly narrower and not so deep as on the average deep-faced woods that abound on the market today. This, for me, makes me feel more confident I can hit the ball well with them, as huge, oversized woods make me feel like I’m swinging a shovel and not a golf club. (Sorry Callaway, but its different strokes for different folks!)
~ ~ The clubs I own are the original Adams Tight Lies Woods which came on the market around the mid-1990’s, and which were endorsed by no less a player than the great TomWatson. (Who as far as I’m aware is still playing them) I paid big bucks for these clubs at the time. £360 (old Irish Punts) which relates to about €440 for three clubs.
They have since been replaced by updated versions on a number of occasions...

...The England squad is a very exciting one, amongst the dead woods, we have some great prospects. The likes of Gerrard, Dyer, Beckham and Owen have five or six good seasons ahead of them if not more. We have a lot of good players coming through, and I think we should stick with them. Ok, we ma have a few bad results but at the end we may be able to put together a team worthy enough to win tournaments.
Eriksson is a good manager, whatever is nationality is we have to give him a chance. If he wins matches and tournaments I won’t care……..will you?.
We must get rid off the older players and start with youth, However great the likes of Adam, Seaman were, we must move on. They will not be here in two or three years time. We must look to the future. My England team would be:
Paul Robinson
Ferdinand
Southgate
Barry
G. Neville...

...My Brother gets a brand new pair of predators a season. This is not only a waste of money but damn right stupid. No matter what boots you have you will play the same. If your Thierry Henry in a pair of Peacock boots you we be brilliant and if your David Beckam in a pair of 1 million pound predators you will play crap. It depends on your talent not on your boots.
The boots them selves look good and last long but they are never worth £100 plus. I know people want to be like the star players such as Henry, Vieria, Tony adams etc but at the day they get paid huge salaries meaning they can afford expensive boots. I think parents shouldnt be forced into mass spending. If your childs good at football then they will be good no matter what boots they wear. If yer kids crap then theres no hope in hell. Tell em to sign for Bradford.
I admit its...
