I recently bought my self a paid of these shoes, and for the price they were a very good product. They are extreamly comfortable and I dont have aching feet after long day of golf as i usually do.
I do usually go for Footjoy and i dont like to deviate away from what i know, but i decided to go for a change and i am very happy I did. To design is ok just depends what you like they are a bit individual with the adidas striped going all round the shoe and under the sole.
They breath well and are so far, waterproof. the only small problem that when your feeet get slighly damp coz of sweating they start to squeek slightly and can be very annoying.
But that is just a small thing and is proably my wonky feet. They are light on foot and are easy walking. All in all a good shoe well worth the money if you want to get away from Footjoy. ...
Advantages: Look nice, Disadvantages: Only lasted 5 rounds of golf.
Purchased a pair of these golfshoes three weeks ago on th 29-Sept-2009.Whn they arrived the looked super and just what I wanted smart wee bit flash and Footjoy. After one round of golf they look like my old ones with the white leather across they front creasing badly.I tried puting leather protector on as footjoy said I should, all this has done no good today after five rounds of golf they are starting to split along the bottom. They are now on there way back to the shop who supplied them.(the shop is superb and it is not there fault). In summary there are plenty of very good golfshoes out there unfortunately The Footjoy AQL does not appear to be the best.I do have three other pairs of footjoy shoes which have served me well so this may be just a one off. ...
Advantages: Comfortable, waterproof, stylish, good grip. Disadvantages: Make sure you break them in properly before you hit the golf course!
I wasn't over enamoured! The runner-up spot in a team competition last summer at my golf club won me a new pair of golfshoes. Problem was, they weren't the Footjoy brand that I normally wear and which have served me well down through the years, but a pair of white Adidasshoes with black stripes which for all the world looked like a pair of my teenage daughter's trainers.
I was even less enamoured when I discovered that they hadn't been purchased in the club professional's shop, which meant I couldn't exchange them for something else. Not that they were a bad looking pair of shoes mind you. Called the "Adidas Tour Traxion" they are a slightly less expensive version of Adidas's best selling golfshoe, the "Tour 360", which is worn by many of the top tour professionals.
Anyways, as my old pair of Footjoy Dryjoys were becoming ...
