I was hunting for a good football and this one stood out with its beautiful design. Looking closer it was a adidas so I had the trust in it.
ADIDAS - so what does it mean?
Many people will tell you that adidas stand for All Day I Dream About Soccer, but this is not true. The word adidas comes from a contraction of Adi Dassler who was the founder of adidas.
Who are they and why trust them?
They were founded in 1925 in Germany by Adi Dassler. Adi created adidas after realizing the need for performance athletic shoes. Also the reason they have three stripes is to represent his three sons. As Adidas has matured they now cover every kind of sportswear you could dream of, including footballs.
At a cost of £20 from adidas I expected quality. To be truthful, quality never arrived. I took it on the field with my 14 year old nephew and gave it a hoof! The wind caught hold of it and carried it off in a different direction!! My nephew kicked it back and it did the same (although he can`t really play anyway, but I can!!) The ball is too light. It would be described as a `flyaway` in my description! Also it didn`t last very long and I only used it on the field. The leather (if you can call it that) scuffed and eventually wore away around the seams. Very unimpressive. Looks
A white sphere shaped object with hexagon and pentagon leather patches sown toghether. A lovely gold fevernova logo with red and black inner. Great logo! Your standard modern football really!
Durability
Terrible. Scuff mark appear almost immedietly and falls to bit very soon after. Not the kind of ball you would expect for £20 or from Adidas!
Feel Nice soft feel but no real quality. Far to light. Great on the foot but no real control! Value
No value here as it needs replacing real soon.
Overall very unimpressive and I don`t think I`ll be buying another one of them!!
