Well i've played a lot of football and done some research into boots.
I cannot believe that people are taken in by football boot technology. People will show how David Beckham bends his free kicks. It's his quality of hitting the ball that does it not the boot he's wearing. The whole thing is psychological and gets into people minds about how good they become with them. In reality players actually just minimise the thoughts of bad shots and concentrate on other parts of their game.
Steven Gerrard could hit the ball just as far and hard whatever boots he was wearing and this was shown in the fact he never used to wear them.
Sander westerveld found no benefits by using predator boots to kick further.
Various stud solutions have been looked at yet none so far have scientically proven that an improvement has took place to the player.
Don't be conned by the advertising. Its all in the mind!
