Advantages: Comfortable, waterproof, stylish, good grip. Disadvantages: Make sure you break them in properly before you hit the golf course!
...I wasn't over enamoured! The runner-up spot in a team competition last summer at my golf club won me a new pair of golf shoes. Problem was, they weren't the Footjoy brand that I normally wear and which have served me well down through the years, but a pair of white Adidas shoes with black stripes which for all the world looked like a pair of my teenage daughter's trainers.
I was even less enamoured when I discovered that they hadn't been purchased in the club professional's shop, which meant I couldn't exchange them for something else. Not that they were a bad looking pair of shoes mind you. Called the "Adidas Tour Traxion" they are a slightly less expensive version of Adidas's best selling golf shoe, the "Tour 360", which is worn by many of the top tour professionals.
Anyways, as my old pair of Footjoy Dryjoys were becoming slightly...

Advantages: The best boot for curling a football and one touch control. Disadvantages: The pads on the flat of the foot wear down if you use them too much.
...The Rapier Traxion was at one time the best adidas football boot going. We all know that Becks has scored a few free kicks with them when he wore them. The day i bought my predators i was so happy you would have thought it was Christmas. Yet still it dented my pocket severly. But at £90 when i bought them, i didnt care. I had a pair of predators. Now you can bid for these gems and get away with paying 15 squids and less for them. If your a good passer of the ball the Predator Rapier t's are outstanding because you can play with your curl of the ball and notice the results straight away. This is because of the positioning of the pads on the front of the boot. They allow more grip on the ball when it is kicked to increase curl and also power, and allow a better control of the ball for the same reason. The durability of the Predator...

Advantages: Comfortable, and does give you a better strikes Disadvantages: Leather splits easily!!!! need to apply dubbin'
...June last year after my birthday I decided I wanted some new boots. I had been saving up for the (at the time) new Predator Acccelerators for ages and I play football on conctrete mainly so I got the Astro Turfs. At first I didn't wear them much because £90 boots need to last for a while. When I did wear them I thought that they were rubbish because I couldn't get used to the curl. Then I started to wear them everyday and I am astounded at how good they are at crossing/floating/curling the ball. However I found I find it hard to shoot hard and acuurately in them. They are delicate and not clumsy so they help with dribbling so you don't need to shoot hard. Just get into the box and curl it in at the far post. There should be an award for Adidas because they are incredible. I can't afford the new Precision so I'm gonna buy another pair...
