...I was watching a few International matches before last years World Cup, and one of the teams that really caught my eye were Spain. They were playing free flowing, attacking football, that really was a joy to watch. The Spanish football shirt is very good looking, so I decided that I would like it for the World Cup, so I could wear it when they were playing, (as long as England weren't playing the same day)! This, the last away shirt they designed, could have been an opportunity to go wild and create something spectacularly good, bad or indeed ugly. Instead, Umbro restrained themsleves and produced a very simple shirt that proves plain doesn't have to be dull. The basics are:- Baby blue in colour with a very dark blue trim.
