I recently bought my self a paid of these shoes, and for the price they were a very good product. They are extreamly comfortable and I dont have aching feet after long day of golf as i usually do.
I do usually go for Footjoy and i dont like to deviate away from what i know, but i decided to go for a change and i am very happy I did. To design is ok just depends what you like they are a bit individual with the adidas striped going all round the shoe and under the sole.
They breath well and are so far, waterproof. the only small problem that when your feeet get slighly damp coz of sweating they start to squeek slightly and can be very annoying.
But that is just a small thing and is proably my wonky feet. They are light on foot and are easy walking. All in all a good shoe well worth the money if you want to get away from Footjoy. ...
Advantages: Look nice, Disadvantages: Only lasted 5 rounds of golf.
Purchased a pair of these golfshoes three weeks ago on th 29-Sept-2009.Whn they arrived the looked super and just what I wanted smart wee bit flash and Footjoy. After one round of golf they look like my old ones with the white leather across they front creasing badly.I tried puting leather protector on as footjoy said I should, all this has done no good today after five rounds of golf they are starting to split along the bottom. They are now on there way back to the shop who supplied them.(the shop is superb and it is not there fault). In summary there are plenty of very good golfshoes out there unfortunately The Footjoy AQL does not appear to be the best.I do have three other pairs of footjoy shoes which have served me well so this may be just a one off. ...
Advantages: Comfortable, waterproof, stylish, good grip. Disadvantages: Make sure you break them in properly before you hit the golf course!
the tournament had gone!
So it was straight into the pro shop at the end of the round, out with the old moth eaten wallet, (all Scotsmen have moth eaten wallets!) and Euro125 later I was again the proud owner of a new pair of Footjoy Aqualites. (Great golfshoes)
The Adidasshoes were then relegated to my golfing gear graveyard (the hall cupboard) and gathered dust until about two weeks ago, when I came across them again in a periodic (and rare!) clear out. By this time my new pair of Footjoys were just about due a new set of rubber cleats (the spikes in the sole of the shoe that give you grip) so I reluctantly decided to give the Adidasshoes another chance, and to wear them for a round at my local club while my Footjoys were getting refurbished.
Surprise! No problems at all. In fact, I've now worn them for the last half a dozen rounds I ...
