...your feet not getting tired so quickly. Another big plus of hard soil is - that work as kind of safety shoes when on bicycle.
When raining in normal shoes and pedals your foot can slide off, you loose a balance and land on a ground. That is just another scenario. When cycling it is even easier to do some difficult manoeuvres on or off road. Feels simply better and in control of bicycle.
When pedalling up the hill you can use one leg to push and other to pull. This way is easier. Without such a shoe it would be impossible. Same situation when have an obstacle on your way. Simply kick your heels and jump over it. It is extremely useful trick.
Vectro straps are really holding well. Newer happened to have them loose when cycling. Same with Quick release ratchets.

There are, I am sure, people who have shoe sizes that are miniscule, and who long to have a pair of shoes which fit well, but bear a number much higher than the reality.
This is your answer. Shimano have sized the pair I have at 48 ! - maybe they are thinking of ages rather than foot sizes. Even when I am trying to get shoes that have plenty of space for my leg extensions, I never go above a UK size of 12 - or 46 in these euro sizes. But Shimano require me to go for 48!
And this issue with Shimano is well documented.
So if you are a diminutive person with size 4 shoes and long to be able to tell folk that you wear a size 40, these could be ideal.
2 For people who will be hiking through thick mud on Irish bogs...

...Adidas Top Sala V are the most amazing indoor football shoes I have ever used.
With the Sala series Adidastried to end the uncomfortable, hard material and feet aching so far used shoes. And they did it! Indoor football doesn't have to be played by though rubber snickers anymore, because with Top Sala V, you get the same ball control and grip and you still feel as if you were running with soft clouds under your feet!
Indeed the "Top Sala V" has a magnificent "air system" underneath that gives that sense of comfort even in the hardest floor. Running is easy (you'll feel like flying!)and the ball control, I believe always gain with the ease that the shoes suit you! This is the case!
They also have reinforcement in front, with a tiny rubber layer that allows you to kick with the point of the shoes.
