Northern Quarter for the Northern Birds

Advantages: Stunning apartments, very clean, good price, very central
Disadvantages: Nothing!

I love Manchester, and used to go quite regularly. Unfortunately money is tight so I don't get as many nights out down there as I used. When I do get down, I like to make the most of it. Last time I was in Manchester, we stayed at The Northern Quarter Apartments. The Northern Quarter The Northern Quarter of Manchester consists of High Street and the 'original Northern Quarter' on Oldham Street, which is slightly North of the Arndale Centre and Piccadilly Gardens in the centre of Manchester. There are loads of funky little boutique shops, which are amazing for vintage clothes. There are plenty of coffee shops ( the one next to Pop is quite relaxed and cool) and small sandwiches shops and eateries. The nightlife in the Northern Quarter includes bars like Dry Bar which used to be owned by New Order, the "modern burlesque" club Mint ...

Review of Northern Quarter Apartments, Manchester

The Best Quarter of Manchester

Advantages: Every wacky thing you will possibly ever need will be found here
Disadvantages: Known to be rough, but isn't at all!

The Northern Quarter is possibly the best bit of Manchester that I can think of. It is the most colourful, most creative area, and it's inspiring and happy just to wander around in. I'll give you a rough guide to what shops are where, and some of my most favourite places ever! ~ Affleck?s Palace ~ Slipping out of the busy-ness of Market Street in between Debenhams and the new (and all too common) Starbucks, you come across a mosaic poem on the floor. Looking on ahead you see another verse, and following this will lead you to the very heart of the Northern Quarter: Affleck?s Palace. Affleck?s Palace was once the home of rag-trade wholesalers and Asian Eateries, but now it has replaced with independent retailers and local creative types giving it its current lively and happy alternative to the high street shopping. Short and curvy

Advantages: good size
Disadvantages: none

Brio short curved tracks. My grandson has had his Brio train set for several years now. We bought it for him for his 3rd Christmas. We have added several pieces to it since. This set of 4 pieces of short curved rail is very useful. Each of these wooden curves measure 3 ½ inches long width 1 ½. You will need 4 of these sets to make a circle. These tracks are ideal to add to a train set they will give you the ability to turn corners will add more interest to a set. This train track is double sided There are grooves for the train to run smoothly on.
