Advantages: Light, Increase speed and control. Disadvantages: Lack of protection
...I own a pair of mercurial vapors and cannot recommend them enough for other people. The nike skin technology provides great control over the ball and allowing the actual boot to weigh a mere 194 grams, the lightest boots to date.
The overall design of the boot is superb and with the wide range of colours there is a boot out there to suit you. The Nike mercurial vapor is worn by such stars as Thierry Henry and Ronaldo, this just shows the high quality on offer.
The boot oozes class and flair and with these you're opponents are sure to be dazzled. This boot is a must have for any football star that just wants to keep playing better and better....

Advantages: Very Light, good quality and very cheap. Disadvantages: Not very comfortable.
...Nike Mercurial Vapor II SG was being worn by the world fastest and greatest footballers such as Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry and more. It is superlight weighing only 200g and it's handmade from Italy. It used to be the lightest football boot but was outrun by the Nike Mercurial Vapor III which only weighs around 185g but Nike Mercurial Vapor II is still a good choice cause it is stylish definitely cheap and your money worth. It is made out of Nike Skin which is a superlight and very thin material. Lightweight performance boot doesn't matter if you are a Sunday league or a professional player the Nike Mercurial Vapor II SG is a good choice for every type of player. The Studs provides perfect agility and acceleration giving you the player a head start on all the others. You can buy this product at eBay for just 20£ to 40...

Advantages: better control of the ball and better power on the ball Disadvantages: the cost
...everytime you go into the sports shops you always see a poster of beckham or rooney modelling a new pair of football boots, but why?
so many pairs of new football boots are coming out because people believe that they all help their performance, well some of them do but not a lot.
it is mainly in your mind that when you have a new pair of £140 boots on your foot that your a real star and you do play better, they might provide more comfort and a bit more performance but are they really worth the money?
wouldnt you be better of spending £40 on a pair rather than spending £140 on the new nike mercurial r9 sg?
the nike mercurial have a great design and are the newest boots on the market.
they have added curves and grooves that are designed to help tthe delivery of the ball.
you decide.
thanks for all your comments and ratings...
