Advantages: Light, silky, smooth, great smell Disadvantages: A little expensive
Victoria's Secret is one of my favourite beauty stores and my guily pleasure whenever I am in the States and their Angels range is one of the best.
A little bit of history - Victoria's Secret was founded in 1977 by a man who felt embarrassed buying women's underwear and felt the need for something easier. It has now turned into a billion dollar company with sales surpassing $7billion in 2006. They are mainly know for their lingerie but also do a fabulous range of perfumes, creams and make up.
The Victoria's Secret "Angels" are their models and spokewomen. They first came onto the scene in 1999 and now the Angel trademark is used in a lot of their products.
The Divine scent is described as letting you bask in euphoria. Vibrantly sheer, bright, and luminous with lotus blossom, waterlily, amber and sheer sandalwood. Domestic. Fragrance ...
Advantages: Gripping plot, Excellent characters, Brilliant insight into CERN and Rome Disadvantages: The short chapters and Brown's overall style won't be to everyone's taste.
After being captivated by Dan Brown's highly controversial 'The Da Vinci Code', I had assumed that 'Angels and Demons' would be the tame sister of this media beast.
Set predominantly in Rome, 'Angels and Demons' is a real time story following Havard professor Robert Langon and Vittoria Vetra, a high level scientist at the CERN complex in Switzerland. As events unfold, the stakes are risen page by page. 'Angels and Demons' is a thrilling read, forcing you into its dangerous, devastating plot and never for one moment letting you go. Be warned, you will begin to believe the book comes coated in glue, such is the difficulty one has in putting it down!
From the very beginning, the few but in-depth characters are presented to the reader. Langdon, already familiar to most through 'The Da Vinci Code' is awoken by a mysterious caller in ...
Advantages: Very unique smell, long lasting, attractive packaging Disadvantages: Initially very strong smelling, quite expensive
I think I have heard more bad comments about this fragrance than any other.
But, in the one week which I have been wearing it, I have had about 5 people stop me and ask me what kind of fragrance I am wearing.
Angel isn't by all means a new fragrance. I was first introduced in 1993. Over 10 years old. Wow! If people are still wearing it, and talking about it, I definitely think that it has made an impression.
I remember the first time ever smelling this fragrance. A friend of a friend was wearing it. My first impressions of it, were very strong, and a very unique but girly smelling fragrance. Extremely sweet smelling, and although this has a vanilla base, it isn't distinctive. Definitely not a fragrance that anyone and everyone could get away with buying.
I was inspired to purchase this after recently receiving a free Thierry ...
