I have shot many high end guns in my career. I have shot and/or owned Vision Impulses, Timmys, Angels, Autococker (electro and manual), Egos, ions,Dm5 and mech 'mags. I play tourney ball and some of the characteristics I look for in a gun are different than what others look for. I am sorry to all you hardcore wdp angel lovers that are out there, but I was not very pleased with my first use of an angel and the future few times i used it. As usual WDP made another angel which had not improved majorly. I have used both angels g7 and speed, i have not been impressed with either. For the price it is not worth buying since you could get an ego05 (the finest, lightest, faster gun) made by planet eclipse. The speed is similar to oher top end markers (around 24bps max).

The grip is really uncomfortable and does not fit the hand well, the grip is known as a 90 degree grip. I prefer the 45 degree grip which suits my hands better and i am sure you would prefer it. The inline regulator (in front of the trigger frame) is really horrible to hold, for a start you can not get your hand round it and your thumb gets stuck when you push it through. It has a cold feeling to it and is to rigid! There is no gauge to show the psi going into the gun's chamber which is quite annoying if you want to change pressure thus using less air. What i would recommend for angel buyers is an angel air system which electronically regulates the air going into the gun and will help with air consumption and will make it more efficient!

I hate the look of angels they just dont look right with an air tank and hopper attached to it. The are un-balanced in my view and everything is in the wrong place. The feedneck where your hopper goes is too high up in the air which means you have a high profile therefore more of a target to hit which is not the best way to go about when playing. They are durable being made of nearly all metal. But are heavy! The trigger guard is ugly and gets in the way of your fingers when doing double trigger (a technique used to shoot the gun fast using 2 fingers)

They are expensive for what they are and do, they are not as light or accurate as a ego, autococker, dye dm5/6, intimerdator, shocker. They cost around £500-£1100 dependng on which design, series and date made 2003/2004/2005/2006. They are made by an English company called WDP and their website is www.wdp.tv

They are quite heavy to run with or hold up with one hand when holding a flag. Which is not a great help when you have to sprint a far distance while shooting! The valves are on the sides of the gun which means when you shot rapidly the gun will move very slightly side to side instead of up and down. Which will make your accuracy bad!

If you want to waste your money buy it, if you want to get a decent top of the range marker get an ego, dm5/6, or intimadator. These markers can be found on most of the decent paintball websites.
