Advantages: The eyeshadow stays the day and a great value for money Disadvantages: It isn't waterproof but are any eyeshadows?
I received this product as a Christmas present for the Christmas just gone (December 2001). It is THE BEST eye shadow I have ever used (second is Clinique's stay the day eye shadow). I used Clinique's HighImpact eye shadow in colour 03 South Beach. Since December 2001 I have used this product frequently (once a week or so) and I have not even used the top surface layer.
Appearance and Packaging of the product

The eye shadow comes in a cuboid box, which is approximately 6cm long by 2.5cm wide. The box is peach with patterns of flowers on (daffodils on the back and white roses on the front). No chance of speaking to a human. You end up getting lost in a crazy computeried maze and the only way to speak to a human is to go to (you guessed it ) sales. All other requests ask you to go to the bloody website.
Anyway, long story short Lastminute gave me short-shrift and said the hotel didn't have space. A lie. They did. I asked them.

It's hard to find a mascara that both lengthens and thickens your lashes without costing the Earth, being hard to apply or running out quickly, but Clinique HighImpact have got pretty close.
The mascara comes in two different shades, black and black, brown and costs £12.50 for 8g and £15.62 for 10g. It is a little pricey, but it lasts a long time (I got a 1.7g free sample that has lasted for a couple of months and is still going) so it is definitely worth it compared to more upmarket brands.
It's easy to use, and just one brush through from base to tip with lengthen and separate lashes without sticking or clumping. This can be repeated a few times to thicken and create a more dramatic look.
Although it is not waterproof, I have never had any trouble with it smudging or running - even in the rain.
