ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB

Advantages: The seats are larger than those I have experienced in other stadiums and are really comfortable.
Disadvantages: Disadvantages would have to be the cost of the ticket and the ticket availability

I recently paid my first visit to the EMIRATES STADIUM, the home of the ARSENAL. I travelled to London via the train and underground to Holloway Road Station. The journey was easy and as you come out of the Underground the Emirates is about 200 metres infront of you. The facilities in the Stadium are excellent-extremely clean and tidy. The cost of the food, (hotdogs, burgers etc), in my opinion was acceptable for a London event. I had a perfect view of the pitch. The match was all that I could have hoped for. At the end of the game we waited for 10 minutes to allow the crowds to depart and had no problems leaving the ground. I believe that this trip for me was a most enjoyable experience!! . ...

Arsenal: Squad Assessment and Season Propsects

Advantages: Attractive football
Disadvantages: Arrogant

small squad. They don?t seem to have a squad of experienced players at the club anymore, after letting a lot of the older fringe players leave over the summer. This experience has been replaced by the enthusiasm and energy of youth and Wenger looks to have unearthed a couple of gems again. There are still areas of the squad where Arsenal look like they could be caught short if they had serious injuries or suspensions. When fit, there is no denying that this Arsenal team is one of the best ever to be assembled. They play exciting attacking football and are a pleasure to watch. There is a certain arrogance that runs through the team that they have earned over the last couple of years. For me, they have been the best team in England for the last couple of years and yet for all their success on the domestic front they are yet to make any ...

Arsenes amazing Arsenal

Advantages: Top flight players and a great club
Disadvantages: none

Being a fanatical Arsenal fan, I thought it only right to wirte an op on my beloved team. Brief History Arsenal was originally formed in 1886 by a group of workers at the Woolwich armaments factory in south London, and the club was first known as Dial Square. The name was soon changed to Royal Arsenal, though when the club turned professional in 1891 the name changed again to Woolwich Arsenal. The prefix was later dropped and the club became Arsenal Football Club. For a period it was popularly known as The Arsenal though this was never the club's official name and during the same year Arsenal moved it’s home ground to Highbury and has remained there ever since. Club Statistics Arsenal were English champions in: 1931, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1938, 1948, 1953, 1971*, 1989, 1991, 1998* and 2002*. Arsenal were FA Cup ...
