After a season of winning absolutely nothing it's about time Arsenal shook things up a bit. With anew stadium on the way and a pletherer of new, young foreigners coming into the team it seems that Arsenal are taking a step in the right direction. However, the departure of Patrick Viera and the recent injury to Thierry Henry are both huge steps back. So what else could Arsenal have changed at the beggining of this season? There kit of course. For many a year Arsenal have been the red and whites of the Premier League, if you forget about the other ten or so teams that play in those colours. But in the days before Highbury was filled with chants of 'come on you reds' you would be more likely to hear the cockneys shouting in support of the men in . . . claret. Well in an attempt to revisit the glory days of yester year, which could just as well be two or three years ago, Arsenal have gone back to the claret home kit. In my opinion the new colour is much more eye catching and is different to any other team in the football league. Although both West Ham United and Aston Villa play in claret there is a distict difference between the tone of their kit's and Arsenals. The golden trimming sets this beautiful kit off extremely well and adds a bit of class. It would be nice to see Arsenal keep this kit for a while longer but i can see them reverting to the red next season. The expensive looking kit would go well with the expensive looking new staium, which should be ready for the start of next season. Just so you know my opinion of this kit is coming from a completely un biased view point i'm a Man city fan. I know it's terriblr but i was born that way. Might explain why i dislike the red though.

Advantages: An amazing shirt, comfortable and great looking Disadvantages: None at all, except it isn't the most recent Arsenal shirt, but that doesn't really matter!
