Come on you reds!!! Not anymore my friend. For this 2005-2006 season, it will have to be come on you clarets! Arsenal FC, in their last season at Highbury have decided to totally change their kit colours and go back into the clubs history to 1913, when the Arsenal starting 11 wore a dark claret (but notably on less wages!). As Highbury makes way for Ashburton Grove, ticket prices have gone up to £45 to watch the Arsenal, and for those of you who bought the Kit last year again have to fork out another £32 to support your club with pride, but in quite a expensive fashion.
The claret colour is much different from that of the West Hams and Aston Villas, being a darker shade a claret, bringing quite a "sexy" look to the shirt. The gold letterering on the back of the shirt makes this shirt stand at from others and you can clearly see players names and numbers on the back, where as other clubs using the gold lettering are not as clear (Newcastle). Embroided underneath the badge and on the back are the words "Highbury 1913-2006",to commemerate Arsenals 38,000 seater stadium, in which Arsenal are moving to the new "Emirates" stadium, being a 60,000 seater...lets hope ticket prices are reduced!
Overall, this new Arsenal kit is nice looking and at the end of the day, it also claims to use technical fabrics to keep you cool and comfortable....which still does not appear to be a valid excuse to charge the clubs loyal supporters £32..........

Advantages: An amazing shirt, comfortable and great looking Disadvantages: None at all, except it isn't the most recent Arsenal shirt, but that doesn't really matter!
