Prince Indoor NFS II Squash Shoe

Advantages: Comfortable, Durable, Fashionable, Protective
Disadvantages: Fairly Expensive

Playing squash 4 or 5 times a week every week of the year necessitates the purchase of a comfortable and durable squash shoe. I have recently purchased my third successive pair of Prince Indoor NFS II Squash Shoes. They are not the most expensive shoe on the market by any means but I think they provide the best value for money. On average, I find each pair lasts me for a year, which considering the wear and tear that they have to undergo is pretty good. There are not many on-line sites which sell squash shoes, and for those that do there is fierce and competitive pricing. My most recent pair were purchased over the internet and cost me £29.99 + postage and packing. Review of Squash Shoes

Dancing shoes on

Advantages: well thought out characters and a nice story
Disadvantages: likely to make you cry

I first read Ballet Shoes when I was eight. It was the first of Noel Streatfield's books I'd read, and it remains my favourite. I put it away during my teenage years and forgot about it until Christmas 2007 when I watched the BBC adaptation with Emma Watson. I went to Indonesia and got the film on knock-off DVD, and immediately after watching I rang home to get my parents to order me a copy. It was a great welcome home. The book opens with 'Garnie' moving into a huge mansion, filled with fossils. She and her nurse (Nana) are moving in with her uncle.
