Ironically though, when playing this on the Game Boy Color and the Game Boy Advance SP, the sounds suffer with the voices clipping, if not, becoming beeps. The Super Game Boy emulates the audio well, but the opposition sprite flicker seems bad on the bigger screen. CONTROLS Top Ranking Tennis opts for a range of serves and shots over accessibility, so inconveniently, both the Select and Start buttons sees to strokes; the game can only be paused by tapping Up twice before service toss. Review of Top Ranking Tennis (Game Boy)

Very addictive tennis game

Advantages: great world tour
Disadvantages: none so far

conquer the world and win all the grand slam events. With all the different mini games (training) in world tour mode there is always something new to be doing. These games are good fun and takes the repetitive edge of just playing match after match. --Difficulty rating-- The World Tour mode can be hard to start with and also gets quite hard to break into the world's top 100, you will need to be patient and keep working in training to do this. It also becomes extremely hard to become number 1 as Roger Federer has so many more points than anybody else and you will need to beat him a few times before you can take his spot. Review of Virtua Tennis: World Tour (PSP)

The most realistic tennis game around

Advantages: Graphics, rane of difficulty settings, enjoyment
Disadvantages: no online mode small arcade features bring it down

Virtua Tennis has always been an arcade style game instead of being realistic. Virtua Tennis 3 although contains great lifelike graphics is stil unfortunately cursed by the cheesy arcade factors such as the classic small explosion when the racket and ball collide and the line of yellow mist which follows the ball giving it a tail like structure. These features in the game (I believe) bring a tacky and childish part the the otherwise great game. Some would disagree with me but I want to play a sports game that is completly realsitic and although Virtua tennis has toned down the arcade like idea these tiny modifications bring you out of the illusion that this game is real life and you are infact watching a game of tennis being played at Wimbledon.
