Advantages: Interesting only for a while Disadvantages: Very repetitive, cumbersome controls
CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) : Dark Motives is a game for the Nintendo DS, based on the television series, and requiring you solve various different cases with logical thought and using various tools to examine the crime scenes.
The game controls can be quite fiddly, giving the appearance that the game is more of a port from the PC versions of the game released a few years ago, rather than the game being re-designed to meet the requirements of the Nintendo DS itself. Using the Nintendo's stylus is very fiddly on occasions, with a lack of thought in my mind being given to the actual playing of the game.
The plot of the game is that there are five different cases which you have to solve, similar to the approach taken by the television series. You use the stylus to find areas of interest, objects, getting samples and the like, to help ...
Advantages: Gill Grissom, Nick Stokes, Warrick Brown, Sara Sidle, Catherine Willows Disadvantages: You will end up glued to the pc!
CSI Dark motives is the second of two games currently available based on the cult tv series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Las Vegas). You are working the night shift with favourite characters Catherine, Sara, Nick, Warrick and of course Grissom. You also get to call on the expertise of Greg Sanders the spunky lab technician and Dr Al Robbins, the cheerful yet mellow pathologist. As you start your first of 5 case that night Catherine shows you the ropes, the tutorial for your toolkit is excellent, and it is quite difficult to get confused even with so many game features. It took me two days to complete this game, however I barely moved other than for the loo or coffee and no housework was done, nobody else in the house got fed and each time someone looked over my shoulder they were greeted by a gruesome reinactment! YES! CSI's famous ...
Advantages: NONE Disadvantages: EXTREMELY HARD, BORING, ANNOYING, WASTE OF MONEY
CSI dark motives on Nintendo DS is most possibly the worst game i have ever played on the DS, the graphics are bad enough but its the game play that is the main problem
its so repetitive all you have to do is find clues which believe me is hard enough without
the very boring and EXTREMELY HARD missions to way to short and SO SO annoying when you can't find the clues. If you can manage to find all of the clues you could complete the game in under three days. The game is definitely not worth you wasting your money on because it is just so awful. Also if you get annoyed easily DON'T buy this game because you will not enjoy it. ...
