Well, as you may kno im an Arsenal fan myself. So, after drawing to Aston Villa at the weekend, I didn't think I would be doing this review.
Aston Villa are currently flying high in the premiership and on the search for a 2008/2009 champions league qualification so when I saw this shirt without a review, I though i'd snap it up.
This shirt, sponsored by 32 Red betting company has a sleek design which is well recognised and associated with the club.
Starting from the top.
Unlike the other shirts from this club, this design doesn't have a collar, just a blue rim which adds to the aerodynamic style.
This same colour can be spotted on the sleeves which are designed to reach to the elbow of the consumer/player. A burgundy trim can be seen just before the end of the sleeve which adds to the style and is a finishing touch to this part of the shirt.
The same burgundy colour fills the main body of the shirt. This colour is associated to this particular club historicaly.
In the middle of this shirt, the 32 RED printed logo can be easily seen from a distance, placed accross the chest. The nike embroided logo can also be easily recognised on the top right side of the chest.
Nike is an official sponser of the club. In addition to the logo, the whole shirt obtains the Nike Sphere dry design. This was designed to airate the players when excersizing. It helps the body lose heat and stay cool from various ventilation holes under the arms of the shirt.
The Aston Villa Club Crest can be identified on the top left side of the chest, this represents the club and is once again easily recognised.
This shirt is 100% polyester which doesnt iritate the skin.
This shirt can be purchased from all major sports shops operating in this sector aswell as online. I have found this shirt to range from £15.00 on kitbag.com to £35 in some bigger stores.
Matching socks and shorts may also be purchased if the customer requires a full kit.
This kit can be washed with all regular clothing as the colours will not run or dramatically fade.
