Aubiose Bedding

lAubiose is a bedding material aimed at horses, but when we realised that wood shavings can cause respiratory problems in rabbits we thought we'd give it a try for our rabbit. He loves it, it's soft and warm and easily diggable for him. It traps all the moisture at the bottom layer, leaving the top layer still soft, warm and dry. It's made from 100% natural, organic hemp and is easily compostable, also there is no citronella added unlike Hemcore. It is highly absorbent and there's no smell to it either. It comes in a 20 kg bag which will last you quite a while and costs anywhere from around the £9 to £10 mark. We put about a 1 inch layer in the bottom of his cage and find it a LOT less messier than wood shavings were.
