You won't find yourself getting too wet and bothered out on the trail either, as these shorts have an incredible ability to wick moisture away from the skin, and to repel much of the crud that hits you from the ground. The leg grippers make sure they don't slip around either, and make for greater comfort when you're shifting your weight over the bike.
I know that lycra is not everyone's cup of tea, but if you're well into the sport, then there really are no better shorts out there for keen leisure or competition use. It's even worth shedding a few pounds just to be able to wear some of these, as they look and feel so damn good! On word about the chamois liner though: it is best to remove and clean this as often as you can after long mucky rides...
