The Activo, you, your kit, done! (You might need some food). Less than two and one half kilos of solid dependability. The single pole, as one construction will have you sheltered in a flash and have the wind whistling past effortlessly. The Activo is extremely light but its aerodynamic design and T6-alloy poles make it incredibly resilient. The flysheet is constructed using 210T PU coated ripstop nylon with taped seams, giving 5000mm of hydrostatic head protection. The groundsheet is 190T PU coated nylon again with 5000mm hydrostatic head; the inner tent is breathable polyester.

It is a modified A fame tent. It has a DAC Featherlite NSL pole system. DAC poles are extremely light and strong. It has a 9 mm hub/pole and 10.25 mm ridge pole with press-fit connectors and lightweight hubs. This single hub/pole system makes erecting it quick and easy and the cross pole on the SL 3 increases head room and stability. ...The VaudeBase Dome 2 is a fairly large stable dome tent with two separate sleeping compartments. Two of the four poles intersect to form the central dome which is 1.9metres high. The other two poles support two separate sleeping compartments. Each one is large enough for a double airbed or two singles side by side. Either or both of these compartments can be removed for extra indoor space. It's an ideal family camping tent that's a manageable size and weight, around 9kg. With one of the sleeping compartments removed there is enough space inside to fit a small table and a couple of chairs. It's make a great luxury base camp for two adults with lots of space for gear. ...A very good tent indeed. I have used this tent on many 2,3,4 and 5 day trips and it has prooved very good. It is easy to assemble with only 2 poles and can easily be done by one person in only 3-4 minutes. I have also put mine up in gale fore winds with driving rain at 2 in the morning on Dartmoor. It is also very spacious and when hiking it is perfect for 2 people and all their kit. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that the tent does not create much condensation, in fact very little and the numerous inside pockets and twin vestibule areas are very useful for essential kit and cookin, respectively. The tent is also very light at under 5lb it makes little impression on your pack. It also has another advantage of being used as a single sheet tent, prefect for on the beach or just as a sun shelter. One minor disadvantage...
