...i origanlly bought this tent for a trip to a german music festival in a car and litle did i realise that this tent would barly fit in the car and we had serious problems with gettin it in but we managed to get it in sharing it out between two cars!
now for the real problems we arrived at germany a day later and it was a windy day an it seemed the worse tent ever to put up as it was so heavy but once it was up it seemed to lean to one side thus creatin an awkward corner that seemed not to be very stable!
plus when it rained the door didnt dseem to shut all the way so a few of us woke up rather wet an angry!
but apart from these problems if we didnt have to put the thing up transport it an have bad weather it would be a smashing tent!...

Advantages: Easy to pitch Disadvantages: everyone else at Glastonbury festival has one
...Time to get the tent out and make sure everything is in tiptop condition. It is Glastonbury in 4 weeks time and we use our Euro hike tent.
Our tent is about 4 or 5 years old cost about £40 it is a green 2-mantent, yes it is big enough for 2 Adults and a child a bit of a squeeze but fine for a night or 2.
The tent comes in a bag with handles fairly light, (cant find spec on wieght)easy to carry.
This Euro hike tent is easy to put up.
There is an outer waterproof skin this is supported by flexible rods, which you slide into place, and an inner skin, which you fix to the outer tent with lots of toggles; this inner tent has ground sheet attached already. There are tent pegs to fix the tent to the ground to stop it blowing away.
It takes me 15 minutes to put it up on my own (I timed myself last year) Less time with another.

Advantages: Logical to put up, spacious to be in Disadvantages: Bit big for the odd weekend!
...Let's set the scene... me and the missus like going away during the summer. Long weekends camping are a favourite especially with an over energetic little lad and a slightly tapped in the head greyhound... which is easier to control is the subjected of an ever ongoing debate!! However, the tents we'd had were not really big enough, especially when we got the dog as well. A little 3 man dome with tunnel and a 5man dome were just too small.
And as for the thought of buying a caravan... let's just say Jeremy Clarkson is someone I agree with!!!
So, off to the local camping shop for a look round. Actually, we often found ourselves in there just to pass a bit of time. With a gardening centre in the same place, plus the obligatory coffee shop, it was a nice little diversion. But I digress...
They had a huge display of tents from most names...
