Playing basketball in the UK this is always the ball of choice and for good reason as well. The ball is the best i think i have ever played with, the leather outside gives the ball superiour grip when dribbling at speed. But it is only an indoor ball and don`t forget it, the quality quickly deteriorates when played on something like concrete, as it causes the leather to crack and lose its grip extremerly quickly. When used suitably this ball can last a long time, but being leather it is possible to wipe any major dirt off with a damp cloth withouth affecting the outer too much. I have had mine for excess of 3 years now, although it`s getting near the end of it`s life. The ball is perfect when it comes to weight and size, fully regulation that is why it is also the ball of choice for the BBL also. The only problems i have found is with pumping it up, i have had friends that have brought balls from stores where they have be pre pumped up, the problem comes when they are over infalted and every now and again it can cause the valve to go and then its completely useless as it cannot retain air. Though many stores will replace them if the problem is down to them. Of course the price is a little on the steep side, baden do very similar quality balls for more recreational use, like the 321, but the lexum comp should be the "weapon of choice" for any game of high prioirty.
