I was bought the Barcalona football shirt as a present it is made by Nike and I would expect a good quality from this brand. Not so the shirt is feather light and is very hard to wash, on the tab in the shirt it says dont not lay ontiself after washing, wash with same colours and do not use softeners, probably because the colours may run into each other.
Also you are not supposed to iron this shirt, for a couple of reasons one it may melt and two could stick to your iron, it has a very plasticy feel. I also read on the tab it says keep away from fire!, without doubt we do this with all our clothes, but I find myself thinking this shirt would melt very very easily.
The material is more plasticy/nylon/polyester than anything probably to aid the lightness but it isnt very durable, it could rip easy as we see many times watching football on TV .
The make up of the shirt is 100% polyester mesh except for the decoration i.e the badges of nike and the football club itself so hence the light plastic feel.
Barcalona are renowned for not having a sponser so it is blank other then these two effects, thank goodness as it would probably peel of or come off in the wash.
The best part about the shirt is the badge it is well made and stands out and is good thickness a good desighn.
I collect football shirts and this is a diapointment in quality without a doubt.
When this shirt is worn in hot weather you know about it, I believe modern shirts are desghned to allow the player to keep cool, I have this shirt on not for playing football but for day to day use for example holidays etc.
I overheated and sweated lots, yes you say because it is polyester, but for me the purpose should be to cool as the under arm sides are mesh but it didn't work I was very uncomfortable.
In conclusion this is one of the newest shirts I have and it is the worst by far I don't know how the players in spain cope with playing in these.
And at £ 39.99 it was quite expensive, but you live and learn I shall not be buying a shirt that feels like this again.

I've got a Barca shirt from a few seasons ago and that one was pretty decent quality. It was quite thin material but apparently that has something to do with some new swet release system or something

Sounds like a bit of a rip-off but then that's probably true of all the big clubs. Just a tip - your spelling let you down a bit here, might be an idea to put it through a spellchecker before you paste it onto the site next time.
