Bell Slant Helmet

Advantages: Good ventilation
Disadvantages: No warning siren for when I leave it on the train

...I needed a new bicycle helmet and here is the foolish reason why. I commute to work by train and bike and put my bike in the onboard cycle store so I can ride it at both ends of my journey. I reach my destination on a cold Monday morning and go to collect the bike from the store. I notice my head is cold but that's because I had a mad half hour on Sunday and shaved all my hair off........nope, I've left my helmet on the train and its now pulling out of the station. What makes this worse is that it's not the first time I've done this (lost the lemet, not shaved the hair)! So, off I go in search of a new helmet and I find the reasonably priced Bell Avanti. ...When first passing my CBT I bought a helmet off the internet, after damaging it I decided to go to a shop and buy one to get it fitted correctly. After visiting the shop, it emerged that all my gear was incorrect size. ~ The Helmet ~ The helmet I bought is an RST PC1 Sport 1950 which has a quick-release anti-scratch visor, a quick release chin strap, fully removable and washable lining, aerodynamic twin-scoop venting and meets both the EC2205 + ACU Gold standard. The helmet is made out of composite carbon fibre outer shell with a polycarbonate visor, polystyrene inner with the usual foam padding for comfort weighing in at 1450g give or take a few. Advantages: A nice, magical film
Disadvantages: Definately aimed at a younger audience!

...When I was babysitting last night, I got roped into watching ?Tinker Bell?, a film from Walt Disney where Tinker Bell is the main character. We get to learn all about Tinker Bell how she became a ?Tinker? (one of the types of fairy). The animation in this is very ?new? Disney. It is all 3D and computer animated and looks very much like the animation did in ?The Incredibles?, not like the old Disney films. I have to say I don?t think I like the animation in the new look films as much as the animation in the old films. The film starts off with the narrator explaining the jobs of fairies, which is to craft out nature, adding all the little details to things like snow flakes, giving light and colour to flowers, and helping all creatures.
