Advantages: Nice Leisure Centre Disadvantages: Poor Service
Dunblane Hydro Hotel is situated high up on a hill in the lovely village of Dunblane which is the home town of Andy Murray as most will know is our top UK tennis player.
Dunblane Hydro is or should I say was an old majestic hotel dating back to 1878.
I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and always found my stay to be most enjoyable with nice accommodation, great food and friendly helpful staff.
Although this hotel has been owned by the Hilton group for many years, recently it became part of the Doubletree Group which is an American company. It?s a bit hard for me to grasp but I found when I did a search on google this website came up??.

Advantages: Very compelling read Disadvantages: None
Velocity sure lives up to its name, a high speed compelling book.
The main character Billy is given a set of choices by a madman, either he does what the madman says or people die, and they do die!! If Billy goes to the police then more people will die. At first Billy does not believe ....only to be proved wrong as people do die as a result of his actions. His partner in a coma in hospital is also at risk and as a reader i went through all his emotions too.... You will follow Billy on a journey as he suspects the people who are around him .... i think that i suspected nearly all the characters....... brilliant!
The characters are a likeable bunch and Dean Koontz helps to get the feel for them with his great ability to allow the reader inside the characters heads and feel what they are feeling.
Dean Koontz is the master of twist ...
Advantages: A decent idea, which rattles along at a furious pace Disadvantages: Would lose a lot if re-read
I've been a fan of Dean Koontz for a number of years. Not devoted enough to rush out and buy his latest novel on the day of release in hardback, it's true, but enough that I make sure none of his paperback releases pass me by. Like many authors who have been writing as long as he has, sometimes he delights me and sometimes he disappoints me. In the last couple of years, he has done more of the former, but that wasn't always true. He had a bad run a few years ago that made me conclude that the thicker a Dean Koontz novel is, the worse it's likely to be. So I was pleased to note that "Velocity" wasn't so big.
Billy Wiles is nothing special. He lives alone and works as a bartender. He once had dreams of being a writer, but his life didn't work out quite the way he planned. Instead, he gets by serving drinks and keeping his head down ...
