Advantages: Cheap Thermarest Mat, Very Comfortable Disadvantages: Size
...Thermarest mats have been at the top of any kit list for keen campers such as myself. I spent about 5 years sleeping on those terrible closed cell foam mats. It was during a 5 day long expedition that i woke up with a bad neck and said "Im getting a thermarest."
I searched the market for a thermarest pad that suited my needs. The first mat i purchased was my Luxury Edition Camprest mat which was about £100. This is a great mat, and when ever there is a car available to be my porter i will pack this. I then purchased a Perforance Series Ultralight mat. This is used when im climbing high in the mountains where a massive mat lashed to the side of your bag just doesent help your performance. Finally i decided to try one of the discovery series mats, mats that i had outcast earlier.
To my amazement i was introduced to a mat that could...

Advantages: Compact, not too heavy, packs a lot in. Disadvantages: Feels bulky if filled to the brim. Price is a little high.
...I used the Tatonka Flightcase for a short trip to Amsterdam and found it really good for what I needed it for. I was on my trip for three days and had more than enough space in the pack for clothes, washbag and other sundries. The capacity of the pack is 40L which may not be ideal for long trips but for trips that last one or two weeks I dont think you'd have a problem. The obvious advantage is that the pack fits in hand luggage and it does with no trouble at all.
I didn't really have any problem with the pack but I would say that it did feel a little bulky sometimes even though it's not that big. It is also quite pricey although I have seen it getting cheaper on certain sites. I paid £60 for the pack. Other than that, it was more or less perfect and many people were amazed at just how much it held. Definately going to be using for my...

Advantages: easy water, saves time, looks good, hardly a burden Disadvantages: not enough space to hold anything bigger than a chocolate bar or two!
...conditions! brr!
for storing extra things that you may have brought along, the camel back provides a small pouch, however in my discovery this can rarely hold much more than a couple of chocolate bars so nothing big. it also has a bungee cord, this allows you to take off an item of clothing and strap it securely to your back!
the Lobo is designed for use with bikes, so i use mine with bikes too, i have two bottle holders on my bike and wondered the point of having a camelbak, i quickly found that if i used bottles that the mud thrown up by the wheels soon covered the nossle to the bottle and i found myself without water!! so using a camelbak on dirty trails definately helps ALOT.
to clean the camelbak resevoir, i just wash it out with water a couple of times and then hang it up to dry, alternately you can buy a resevoir dryer that is designed...

I found that Urban Decay's Big Fatty Mascara was just a big fat waste of money. I went into Boots intent on buying a new mascara, and ended up purchasing this product for £13. I had used Urban Decay eyeliners before, and was very pleased at the result... more
Just lately, with two small children at home, we haven't been getting out much (ahhh!) so have been doing much more entertaining at home. We often find, when having friends round for the evening, that it's good fun to finish up with a game, which is why... more
If you like your guitars to sound as if the amp is about to crack up and turn into a puddle of molten cheese then this is the distortion pedal for you. It would be safe to say that if you put anything through any Electro Harmonix pedal then it's going to more
