Advantages: Very stable even when 1/2 full thanks to frame sheet, ventilating back, padded shoulder straps and hip belt Disadvantages: The lid pocket's on the small side, heavy for a daysack, small for a weekand sack
...This is Lowe's best-selling backpack for hikers who are dependant comfort, reliability and stability; well that's what they say on their website. I would have to agree, this day pack was fantastic when used in the Peak District for a day pack.
The packs construction is very durable and versatile. I found that the design was exceptional, it makes use of 'Pure Air Zone back' which suspends the load away from your body, giving ventilated comfort while maintaining stability. This allowed sweat to be wicked airway, rather than stay on your back. However, this is because it uses a internal frame, which does make it a little heavy for a pack. Nevertheless, the shoulder and hip padding and back system make it very comfortable.
The main sack does appear to be rather small, but does allow all the required equipment and clothing to be stored...

Advantages: Good for 2 people, fuel widely available Disadvantages: bulky
...I've had my Trangia for around 6 years now. The only damage to it is some dents in the frypan/lid, which were my fault because I had it strapped on to the outside of my pack, which I then dropped from shoulder height onto some rocks. The dents have rendered the lid unusable as a frypan, but I've not found that a problem.
Mine is the largest size, because my husband and I travel together. I like the fact that it has 2 bowls, which means we effectively don't need to carry any plates or anything, as we eat straight from the pans. They are a good size for cooking enough food for 2 hungry hikers. The way they pack into one another also leaves space for the incidentals you need to carry - scourer, matches etc so everything is in the one place.
It's true the flame is hard to control once you've lit it. if you've used it for awhile you...

...This sleeping bag has served me well for a long time. I have had it for a few years now and it isn't even showing signs of wear. Vango has not disappointed.
Although it is relatively expensive you are paying for quality.
I have trekked with this in my pack and it has left plenty of room for all the other essentials, such as tent, clothes, food, etc... This sleeping bag is definately a great buy.
My only problem with it is that it did not keep me warm in the winter, but this was to be expected as it is not advertised to be all that effective in conditions below -10 degrees.
I would recommend this to any serious camper/hiker for the spring/summer months.
It is easy to pack down and compress in the bag given, with compression straps. Ends up in at a very manageable size, although not the smallest you can get. The price reflects...

I listened to these tapes before I ever read the books, and I must say I’m glad I did so. Douglas Adams was a great writer, but his characterisations were inconsistent to say the least; he is said to have arbitrarily swapped lines of dialogue between... more
When it comes to being different, maybelline's new dream matte mousse definitely deserves a reward. With it's unique little glass bottle packaging and it's strange mousse texture, this is a foundation that is set to be huge worldwide.
