Helmet crash
Advantages: Robust, light weight, good ventilated Disadvantages: the visor had a tendence to slide down
Well i buyed this helmet in 2007,i am a freerider so i like to make big jumps and all that so i just think that for about 80$ cdn dollars i will get a nice helmet and i was right. This helmet its made from 100% Fiberglass so its light and well ventilated you have a fully adjustable forehead colling vents. If you like to be up to date whit specs, you should know that this helmet exceeds Snell 2000,DOT, ECE and AS standards.
well my experience whit ... ...Mont Blanc bike park in near Montreal and id like to try some expert freeride descent. Like every young man i claimed to be the best and i was going to fast and i felt of the ramp like at 25 kph... My head hit a tree and i fall about 2 meters down. the helmet caught all the impact without even a big crack .i was only cracked by a 3cm long. the clear coat of the fiberglass was even intact on the sides. seriously, if i didn't wear that helmet i surely ...

USE YOUR HEAD! WEAR A HELMET.
Advantages: LOOKS. COMFORT. FIT Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE IF NOT FREQUENTLY USED
The Giro Monza helmet ranges in price from anywhere btween £50 and £70 at the time of this review. I paid £80 for mine a few months ago. I don't regret one penny of it as a helmet is invaluable, in my opinion, when cycling (my previous one ended up in 3 pieces when I landed headfirst on a roadside rock). The Giro Monza is lightweight - even the size large for my big head comes in at only 310g - and extremely comfortable. Smaller sizes are obviously ... ...system which allows you to place the helmet on your head and adjust the fit in situ, so no time consuming adjustments and readjustments are needed to individual straps. It also has 24 air vents to allow for ventilation and cooling, along with cool max pads inside which help to wick away sweat. These pads can be removed for washing if needs be. It is so comfortable, it is easy to forget it is there at times which obviously speaks for itself in terms ...

On me 'ead son
Advantages: Light weight, comfortable, sleek and stylish. A pleasure to wear. Disadvantages: VERY expensive and only available in limited colours
...remember I stumbled upon the Specialized S Works and that was it, and luckily the fit was perfect for me.
****The Specialized S Works****
The S Works is no standard helmet, it is much more and, in addition, it is a thing of beauty. Weighing in at a meagre 180g (approximately 6.3 oz) the S Works was the lightest helmet available when I purchased it. Its nearest rival, the Decibel, is 50g heavier (this is close to a 25% weight saving) and whilst ... ...the technology used, and the Specialized branding (a highly respected manufacturer of cycling apparel in the two wheeled world) this high price is not surprising.
The recommended retail price of the S Works is £109.99. At the time of writing the S Works can be bought for £89.95 (excluding P&P) from the TriStore.com, although sizes and colours are limited.
****Disadvantages****
Unlike many other types of cycle helmet the S Works is only available ...

661 Flight - Is there a better helmet out there?
Advantages: Full face, well built, stylish, well priced Disadvantages: May be over vented for cold weather
...found it really helpfull that 661 supply sizes in cm with their helmets. All I had to do was measure my head as per the instructions on the website and voila! And do you know what? When I took this helmet out of the box and tried it on it fit perfectly.
The helmet itself is the best one I've worn to date. It is light and unobtrusive when wearing it but it doesn't have that flimsy feeling that some of the lighter helmets I've tried have had. I've ... ...when I do (this is inevitable and the reason I need a helmet in the first place) it will have all the protection I need.
The helmet comes with a "double D ring" fastening strap, which in my humble opinion is the best you can get and it gives a comfortable yet secure feeling when riding. Plastic buckle straps may well be easier to use, partucularly when wearing gloves, but personally I'll take the extra effort it takes to do the double D ring up ...

Helmet Hair Alert!
Advantages: Good ventilation Disadvantages: No warning siren for when I leave it on the train
...I find the reasonably priced Bell Avanti. This is a unisex cycle helmet that is grey all over with a few varying shades to make it look nice. There is a black detachable sun visor which comes in very handy, especially with the low winter sun and for keeping rain away from your face. There are 11 large vents across the top of the helmet to provide you with significant ventilation. This is always something I look for in a helmet as I overheat quickly ... ...as a cyclist.
The Bell logo appears 3 times on the helmet (each side and at the front) but its quite small and unobtrusive. I have been using the helmet for about a month now so can confidently vouch that this is a comfortable helmet to wear. As I mentioned, I can overheat quickly but this helmet is keeping me cool so far (I imagine the British weather is helping a little with that though!). Now.... it's a lot harder for me to comment on its ability ...
