Review of Shimano M085 Cycling Shoes

An excellent and versatile budget SPD shoe!!

Advantages: Comfortable, Supportive, Great looks, Bargain price, Good Grips
Disadvantages: Cold in winter, Not waterproof, Shimano sizing system

...recently purchased a pair of Shimano M072 shoes for use with a pair of Shimano M520 SPD pedals. I managed to pick up the shoes for around £20.00 new which for that price I would say is a total bargain!! The Shimano shoes are sized using European sizes, however it is worth buying the size above what you would normally buy as they are slightly smaller. Polaris MR 5000 - must have cycling shoes

Advantages: Everything about this shoes and idea of having that type of shoes
Disadvantages: none

Lake Boots beat jack frost

Advantages: Warm, dry, fit like a glove!
Disadvantages: Pricey

...first frosty outing wearing the Lake boots. It was well below freezing, well a couple of degrees below, and at no stage during the 3 hr ride did my feet even begin to feel cold.
