When I was younger, my friends and I were addicted to teddies, more in particular those in the TY Beanie range! TY make a lot of soft toys, in all forms, including animals bears, and Beanie Boppers which are like little people. My friends and I loved the TY beanies, and between us probably had all of them! There are lots of different animals in the TY range, and a lot of them were cats, much to my delight. One of the little cats is known as Frightful. She is not just a normal little kitty though, but represents Halloween. I love witches especially, so this beanie is perfect for me. Frightful is jet black, with bright orange paws. On her head there is an adorable witches hat with cobwebs, complete with little hanging spider. She definitely has a frightening look to her, but she is utterly gorgeous! Review of TY Frightful the Black Cat

Killer cats

Advantages: Entertaining, easy to watch
Disadvantages: Hard to take the plot too seriously

abroad, I am a bit of a sucker for anything that involves English village life and as this film is set in an English village, it was the obvious choice for my introduction to the world of Lucio Fulci. And, of course, a fellow reviewer had already recommended it - thanks, Spencer. Prior to the film starting, there were a number of trailers for other films of a similar genre and presumably distributed by the same company that distributes this one (Shameless). I have to admit, I started getting worried. I enjoy watching horror films, but some of the clips I was watching were a bit out of my comfort zone, involving what I will term as sexual horror, for want of a better word (for example, stabbing in the genital area). Review of Black Cat (DVD)

Trent Valley Equestrian - the best in the area

Advantages: Covers everything for ages 4-94, lead rein to three day event
Disadvantages: I just wish it was closer to home (but it's still worth the travel!)

Trent Valley Equestrian Centre is a fantastic riding school and livery/competition yard - very friendly, very professional, very welcoming. Our daughter would live there if she could even though she doesn't have her own pony! From lead rein to three day event, from age 4 to 94 this is the place to learn to ride, to improve your riding and compete at every level. TVEC view riding as a complete activity including horse care and stable management - badges, tests and assessments at every level - individual badges, Pony Club, ABRS, BHS, NVQ - you name it, they do it. Every month it seems there is a new development - something small like a new stable door or something big like the new 1800 sq m International Level Indoor Arena to complement the four floodlit ourdoor arenas.
