Advantages: Quite different and much better than the previous few Black Sabbath albums with Ozzy Disadvantages: None
Blizzard of Ozz was Ozzy Osbourne's first album following his split from Black Sabbath. Following being sacked from Black Sabbath, Ozzy was in a mess, living in a hotel and trying to drink and snort himself in to oblivion - Sharon Osbourne who would eventually become his wife, decided to get him back on track and from the brink of destruction, the depressive Ozzy got his stuff together and recorded this rather enjoyable album.
A great helping hand came from Randy Rhoads who added an awesome speed to the guitar playing of the band. The only thing that this album really has in common with his earlier work of Black Sabbath is Ozzy's voice, although it does tend to stay in the top rangeof his voice for much of it. The themes are quite different with a lot less of a satanic outlook and a more moody sound, the music is gentle and melodic ...
Advantages: Great for everyone, Lots of different slides Disadvantages: Heat of walkways in the summer
around the perimeter of the park. When you're after some quiet time, grab a tube (readily available) and laze around the river at your own pace. It is lovely and relaxing. Watch out for the sunshine though - it is also a mecca for sunburn!!
FOOD / DRINKS
We didn't eat a main meal in the park for I can't comment fully on this. The only food item we bought was a Pail of Icecream (approx. $8 / £4). This was an actual bucket and spade of icecream, cookies, waffles and brownies - and would easily feed a family of 4-5. Ok so there were only two of us...but we certainly couldn't finish it!
ENTRY $$$
A day ticket for Blizzard Beach is $39 +tax for an adult and $33 plus tax for a child (age 3-9). Under 3's are free of charge. However, we used a 14 day UK exclusive park hopper ticket (approx. £185) which gave us unlimited visits to all Disney ...
Advantages: Power, style, and so very FUN to drive! Disadvantages: Rear wheel drive makes snow and ice hazardous.
The Pontiac Firebird Convertible was a blast to drive and own! It's powerful accellerations, along with the top down, felt like a real luxury. This car is perfect for people who love the wind in their hair, and the open road. Best for places with warm weather year round, and not made to be a family car, the Firebird is perfect for one or two people in warm climates. It is also ideal as a second vehicle for any person or family. You should own a more reliable means of transport first, though, for bad weather and for transporting more than 4 people. The back seat is small, so 4 in the car is not really comfortable. Best for a lone driver, or driver and one passenger. But again, if you already own a reliable all weather, larger vehicle, and are looking for a second, fun, sporty car, the Firebird Convertible is PERFECT ...
