For a compact little vacuum the 1400W provides a vast amount of suction power. So much so that very loose carpets may be in danger of being lifted up.
In my house there are various floor types. Some previous vacuum cleaners have performed better on specific areas of the house. The DC08 performed exceptionally on the carpets (inc the stairs), hardwood laminate flooring and the rugs.
Some floor types are more delicate than others and some are also less attached to the ground and so Dyson have included a variable suction feature on the DC08. There's a release trigger (reducing suction by 35%). Good for cleaning rugs while keeping them on the floor (vinyl/lino floor coverings also).

Advantages: Good premise, clever ending Disadvantages: Too similar to other films
While on her way home driving in torrential rain, student Michelle runs out of fuel at the worst possible moment, she just makes it to a petrol station where a strange looking man with a terrible stutter fills up her car. After previously handing over her credit card the man calls her into an office and says that the credit card company need a word with her, she reluctantly enters the office and finds a dead tone upon picking up the phone. The man locks the door and tries to stop her from leaving, Michelle manages to break free and speeds off in the car however she never makes it home.

Advantages: Top quality kit Disadvantages: Nothing at all
Being a mountain bike mad man I decided it was time to get a new bike. Shopping around for a bike these days gets complicated with the huge variety of bikes you can buy and for a wide price range.
Me being me I like the hard tail mountain bikes. That's a bike without rear suspension. If your on recreational cycling or after some sport competition then a hard tail is a good choice for a reasonable choice.

Anyways, after much decision making I finally went for the Specialised Rockhopper Comp Disc 2007 bike. At £749 this for me is actually not a bad price bearing in mind you can get bikes for £4000 plus.
