Now this IS a nice shirt!
Boca Juniors, the giants of Argentina. Always a safe bet for a nice shirt and this one doesn't let the side down!
Manufactured by Nike, you know that the quality will be good. It's in the sphere dry material, which has very little shine to it and keeps the classic blue and yellow colour scheme looking really great. It's also extremely comfortable to wear, either for leisure or playing in.
The styling is a real triumph too. Of late, Nike have made some very, very dull shirts. They went through a spell of making exactly the same design shirts, just in different colour schemes and different badges. They also tended to make the colours slighlty out. This one is a fantastic return to form though. The styling is simple enough to be classic but, with touches like the really cool collar design, it's got enough about it to appeal to collectors as well.
The club badge is simple but classy and matches the shirt brilliantly and looks nice sat in the middle of the chest.
Boca shirts are a must have for any collector and, if you are going to have just one, then this or the very similar 2005 shirt would be a great example.
Boca shirts tend to go for better money than a lot of European clubs due to their prestige and reduced availability here so anything up to the £20 mark would be a fair price but you could try the auctions and get a bargain. I certainly wouldn't pay more than £20 plus shipping. As I got mine through the business I work for, it would be unfair for me to give details of where.
