Using these weights you can tone every major muscle and for those ladies out there who are worried about building muscle, with only 9Kg per dumbell there isnt really enough weight to do this. To make sure all you need to do is lift a weight that you can complete 15 repetitions of for 3 sets, ideally feeling hard for the final 3 reps of each set. If you are looking to build muscle then you need to be working at a much higher intensity whereby you couldnt really lift the weights more than 8 times per set. Personally I don't mind getting them as it's a sign that you lift weights and are part and parcel of the whole lifestyle. The bars may make your skin slightly hard and dry but to be honest if you don't like them then weight lifting is probably not for you, for any women not wanting to have tough looking hands, then a plastic set of weights can be bought which was eradicate the problem. Also moisturiser applied daily reduces the hardness of the skin. Advantages: Relaxes and decompresses the spine and muscles
Disadvantages: Takes up a lot of room

...and the jutting out bone in the back of my neck was flat. The drawback was that this was costing me £60 per week then after four months £60 per month. Prior to attending this treatment I had been tempted to buy an inversion table to see if it would help as the claim was that it helped to align your spine and took all the stress out of it aiding decompression and allowing your body to relax and revitalize. As usual I had an excuse for spending the £99.00 as I figured it was less than two sessions with the physio and would hopefully save me money by not having to attend sessions anymore. I bought it about a year ago and have not been back to the physiotherapist since.
