Pulley's self titled album, released in 1999 on Epitaph Records, really is quite amazing. The only problem with it may be it's over production that somehow manages to make the album too perfect (if thats possible). It contains song after song of perfect punk rock. It's impossible to spot any fault in the whole 29 minutes and 54 second playing time (shame it's so short!!). Song no.7, starts off sounding a little like 'The Police' or something. It's very good.
Adding these extra little, more rock than punk sections, definately improves the enjoyability of the CD. With more creativity added in like this, the album continues to be enjoyed for longer, and this album is a good example of todays punk rock. If you like this sort of music, you will definitely like this. They really are the best.

If you are looking for some really catchy Pop Punk with an edge then Pulley are the band for you and especially this album. This is a clean cut, fun album full of good sing a long tracks and a few really gems.
Pulley are almost like a super group in the punk world, comprising of members of some really respected punk bands such as strung out, ten foot pole etc.
The album opener 'Working Class Whore' sets the tone for the album, it is the type of song which you are already singing along to by the time the chorus comes around the second time. the album fires along at rapid pace like any good punk album does with some great songs along the way.
