The Brasher Men's Lithium Boot is the lightest boot in its class; ideal for walking or trekking on rugged terrain, yet suitable for trekking in warmer climates.
Advantages: My feet are in love with these boots Disadvantages: They're not cheap
One year without realising what I was letting myself into, I promised my husband a new pair of walking boots for his birthday. I was expecting to pay £60-£70 but bless him, he fell in love with a pair of Brasher Supalites and I didn't have the heart to say no. With a 10% discount they cost me £108 and he assured me they were worth every penny.
Bad Boot History
****************
At this stage I'd been fighting the need to buy proper boots. As a student I studied geology and spent a lot of wet miserable weeks plodding over mountains with wet feet. In my book, proper boots weighed a tonne and took a lot of looking after. We used to do the most bizarre things to make them fit and to soften the leather - sitting with your boots on in bowls of hot water, putting lots of Nikwax onto the wet boots so the nasty stuff got sucked into the pores ...
Advantages: Kept feet Dry Disadvantages: Dont last and poorly manafactured
I have been extremely disappointed with my Gortex Hillmaster walking boots.
I am now on my third pair, the first 2 pairs had to be replaced because the ankle supports split,
Now the third have completely worn down on the heels exposing the soft spongy substance underneath.
This has happened in just over 1 year despite most of my walking being done on soft ground, I have nothing unusual about my walking style and am not overweight.
These boots are not of the quality they once were renowned for and at the price they are, you would expect something better. I will never buy a pair of these boots again as in my opinion they most certainly don?t represent good value for money.
I have purchased boots in the past that have cost about one quarter of the cost yet they have lasted a least four times as long. ...
Advantages: they are very comfy, very cheap and stylish. Disadvantages: dont look as good as the £200 boots.
i bought a pair of these for a football camp course when i went away for 7 days and all the coaches commented on them saying how they are the original football boot. None of these plastic super light boots which are dangerous to your feet, these support your ankles, they are comfy as made out of leather and look good!. Adidas world cups are the boot to wear if you want you progress, if you want to look fancy and have bright orange boots running up and down the pitch then these are not the boot to wear.
After wearing these I kept buying new pairs when they ran out, and for the price of the new Ronaldo or Kaka's boots you can get about ten pairs of these if not more. you can buy these in any football boot shop, JJB, soccer dome, soccer world, JD sports, pro direct soccer online. Any good player who just wants to play football not look ...
