This really does improve performance!!

Advantages: easy to use
Disadvantages: gets a bit slobbery!!

I'm mildly asthmatic but hate use my inhalers. My GP wouldn't approve, but there you go, I'm not fond of using them. But I do find breathlessness limits my training ability and although I try to train 4 times a week, sometimes my breathing limits my aerobic capacity. I got one of these on the advice of a training buddy, also mildly asthmatic. Although sceptical - I've tried many things that are supposed to be helpful for asthma which have been disappointing ...
...kind of weird breathing in and out of a plastic device but once you get used to that (and it didn't take me long), it's a very easy piece of kit to use. And for me, it works! Very well. I've been using it for a month and I certainly feel the difference when I'm doing cardio. I don't feel as short of breath and I don't have to stop as often. A Breath of Fresh air: Powerlung Trainer

Advantages: increase in Aerobic performance, increase in lung capacity
Disadvantages: A touch expensive
