Goliath is a big hooking ball

Advantages: Hook potential, colour, price
Disadvantages: Discontinued

The Brunswick BVP Goliath is part of their 'Value Performance' range of bowling balls together with BVP wizard, BVP Ambush, BVP rampage and the BVP punisher. The BVP is now a discontinued bowling ball replaced by the BVP Mammoth. The BVP range of bowling balls are supposed to give high end performance at value prices which they seem to do very well. The BVP Goliath has a high-load particle cover-stock (400 grit sanded) which up until the mammoth was the highest hook potential ball in Brunswick's history with a hook potential rating of 160. The two piece core of the goliath is a inverted bell core which gives a medium RG of 2.590. This gives a ball that hooks through the oil. Gutter ball or Spare

Advantages: Fun with family members
Disadvantages: hard to master

The idea behind this game is to bowl just like in the lanes at the local bowling alley however it is more like playing skittles in the local street alley. The controls are poor to say the least how ever the game is not all bad after u get used to the controls it can be a fun game to play with family members The graphics are nice and the game runs smooth and this could be one of them games where with a few careful tweaks by the designers could turn out to be one of the classics series that start off being average/poor and grow as the series continues. I spent many a good time on this game with friends and family and so if you are looking for a quick pick up and go game then maybe this one is not for you however if you are looking for a game where you can play as a group then this is a good game. Overall this is not a bad game there ...

Inferno

Advantages: One of the best Pertwee stories made
Disadvantages: Not many on this DVD

Inferno I am reviewing the two disk DVD set of the Jon Pertwee Doctor Who story "Inferno" As I was too young to remember Jon Pertwee as the doctor I managed to watch all of his stories from UK Gold at around 1993. There were some stories that stuck out in my mind that I thought were very good. Inferno was one of them. The way that this story was thought out and made in 1970 was one of the first times it had been also aimed at an adult audience and with this storyline it was very entertaining. This is a seven part story but with this one you can understand why with all that is going on. I shall now run through the two disks. Disk 1 : Inferno Plot - The Doctor and UNIT are involved in a top secret project "Inferno" which is a secret drilling operation to the Earth's crust to release a new source of energy. Things start ...
