...Well. You can either purchase these shin pads in junior or mens size. For those who leave comments and do not know what there talking about, yes their is a difference and thats why I have noted it. Ahh now thats out of the way. Well I simply needed a new pair of shinpads. My old ones were just absolutely terrible. A lot of dirty tackles they have had. By the way for all you junior football players reading this, I know shin pads arent the most stylish or cool football accsesorie, they are important. Please wear them. The ammount of A&E visits I have had to make with team mates who have forgot to put on their shin pads is unbearable. Anyway onto the shinpads I think that you can get them in a variety of colours. ...anything with as good weight distribution as the CA white gold. so i bought it again, this time i had it knocked at the same shop for £10. Since then it has never let me down, so if you are going to buy it make sure you knock it in before playing full pace cricket. one the whole a great bat no matter how you approach your game, my style is aggression and keeps up with my style. thanks for reading... Advantages: Stops your bike. Easy to setup.
Disadvantages: Takes a while to bed in. Supplied pads rubbish.

...Oooh... brakes these days. Rim or Disc? Cable or Hydralic? The way things are going, you'd swear that disc brakes were the be all and end all of brakes these days, but you'd be wrong, as Shimano will be eager to prove. Shimano have been doing V-brakes for quite a while now, and the LX really demonstrates that. Whilst I was sorely tempted by a disc brake, I can't really see what all the fuss is about. Yes, if you're into hurtling down hills on your 55lb monster downhill bike then discs are for you, if you're a cross country rider trying to shave a bit off the weight then vees are still you best bet. The brake is the cheapest in the Shimano range to offer the parallelogram design, which keeps the brake pads parallel to the braking surface, resulting in longer pad life and better braking performance.
