Advantages: Very Very forgiving/ideal for an improving player Disadvantages: None to speak of,maybe the lack of a 3 iron
is plain to see and feel. The weight of the club is significantly different to my older spalding set.
Good bits
I like the idea of the 10 iron in place of the 3 and I now use it more than the wedge. Apart from the distance stuff i have massively improved around the green with a real feel through the club, granted the lessons are helping but I am convinced that the clubs are playing a big part. I would not hesitate to recommend these, very expensive new but at £180 second hand a real bargain. As a 'New' beginner I thought a decent set of clubs would'nt make much difference but I was way off the mark they have really helped. I reckon I'm looking at at least 6 to 7 shots off my round and the 90 mark is very close now for me. ...

i recently upgraded my irons my VFTs to the fusions and i was impressed by the difference. I seem to be able to hit the ball further with my new irons and unlike my old irons there are no cavities in these clubs, which i think inproves the 'feel' of the shot and the distance. With this set i also got a gap, lob, sand and pitching wedge, all of which are useful for around the greens. However i feel as though the longer irons such as 3,4,5 show the biggest differences, when compared to other sets. They no longer feel like clubs, but are more like an extension of your arms and one has far more control over the club. However the clubs are rather expensive and i only acquired them because they were a gift. Otherwise i think i would not have purchased them as my improvement in golf is not worth nearly £1000 ...
