Callaway have waited a long time before entering into the golf ball market. I welcome them with open arms. After many years playing the titleist hps wound ball I decided to give the callaway a go. The price wasn't too frightening although it seems worse due to them only being sold in sleeves of five or more rather than the usual three. As soon as I had one in my hand I knew this ball was different. It almost feels sticky to the touch. The feel of ... ...was really pleasing. But the callaway really comes into it's own around the green.
It's soft feel really is unlike any other ball I have ever tried. You learn to trust it very very quickly. Putting with it is an absolute pleasure. As for rule 35? There isn't one. Very clever. Are callaway suggesting that this ball is just outside the rules? They should be! ...
