Advantages: Economy, reliability, comfort Disadvantages: small boot
I've owned a 1.5DCI Dynamique from new (2004) and have covered 63,000 miles. Had a couple of minor things fixed under warranty, door handle paint and steering column knock(?), despite not buying the car from a Main Dealer they honoured warranty repairs. Cheap Road Tax, Car Insurance, comfortable, lots of toys and economical. The only unusual fault was an intermittent STOP / OIL indication, which lasted a day or two - suspected wet electrics when the car was serviced by a non-Renault garage. At the time I was a bit unnerved by the complexity of the electronic systems, 7 units talking hooked up to diagnostics, but it settled down. That was 6,000 miles ago though. Interestingly the stalling of the rear wash wipe (common) is a s/w fault, in my case I didn't bother mentioning this until the STOP light problem, but it could have beenfixed ...
I am currently leasing a Megane Oasis, through an employee deal at work (Lookers in Northern Ireland [Charles Hurst Lt.d]).
The Oasis is really a base trim, with some extras from the higher models.
You get a panoramic sun roof and air con., electrically folding, colour coded door mirros, keyless car (just have the key in your pocket and it unlocks when you touch the handle, etc.)

Front fog lights and an arm rest come as standard too.
It's got some nice features for a low trim level.
I particularily like the fuel economy. I am very heavy right footed and still manage around 50mpg, and with the 60 litre tank can see easily 650 miles between fill ups.
The panoramic sun roof is grear; gives the car ...
Advantages: Comes with bladder, expandable, waterproof, well constructed from quality materials, looks cool Disadvantages: Putting an mp3 player holder/port in the rear of the bag is daft. How about in the shoulder strap?
and barely noticeable once you get moving. The straps in no way restrict movement and it is pretty straightforward to take off when chairlifts require it. The sack itself has something like a 15 litre capacity which expands easily by another 5+ litres. I have never needed to expand the bag when resort skiing but on long day hikes when I needed to carry lunch, waterproofs and a spare layer found that after expanding the bag I had room to spare with no loss of stability. The pack has a zipped external pocket with a key clip and mesh pocket for bits and bobs. The fabric is high quality and well put together. There is a useful grab handle at the top.
The straps are comfortable and easy to adjust and there are straps for attaching skis diagonally. There is a headphone port in the small outside compartment.
One of the most important features ...
