...Since buying one of these mats I would never go camping again without it. They are amazingly comfortable for the thickness of the mat and also provide insulation. They are the size of a standard camping mat but provide much more cushioning due to the self-inflating mechanism of the thermorest design which give it more of the comfort of an airbed. The mats also provide insulation against cold coming up from the ground which is a definite advantage when camping outside the summer season - or even within it at times in England! They are easy to strap to a rucksack and don't require any blowing up as that all happens automatically. The only slight struggle you might have with this product is rolling it up at the end of your trip as it can be hard to squeeze the air out at times in order to get it to pack down enough, but this is just... ...A quality piece that aids camping. Far better than the tiny old fashioned type stoves. Easy to use, except when the grass is long! We found that too long a grass burnt if we placed the product on the ground. It is high power, so water boils quickly and food gets done, rather than waiting around. It is also very stable, almost impossible to knock over. On the transport side, it is a little bulky and therefore unlikely to be suitable for backpacking. However, camping with a car and tent this is ideal. We took it to Ireland where it rained everyday - at least we knew that we would have hot food and drinks quickly. Overall, I would say that this is worth buying, unless space is at a premium.... Read review

...Personally I like all tents, and think that camping is one of the best hobbies, and the advantage with it is that camping is relatively cheap. All dome tents are suitable for you and a mate to go camping in. They are normally quite cheap, a decent size, and are very easy to put up. After a couple of attempts with my tent, I could put it up in under 3 minutes!!! Yes I did say UNDER 3 MINUTES!! I couldn't believe the speed and ease of use. Packing it away usually takes a bit longer, but about 5-10 minutes later it is usually packed away (depending on whether it rains or not). I would say that this is a definate must, and should be bought immediately without delay.... Read review
