* Slant Box Baffle Construction - Slanted compartments sewn at 6 in. intervals with 3 in. offset from top to bottom keep down from falling away from sides, creating a more even distribution of insulation to eliminate cold spots and provide all over down insulation.
* Adjustable contoured hood conserves heat in a critical area: the head and shoulders. The drawcord can be used to draw the hood closer to close gaps around the head.
* Shell and Lining are tightly woven 1.8 oz. Silky Taffeta Nylon.
* Zippers are mateable #8 YKK nylon coil with double sliders. Anti-snag tape at zipper. Velcro® closure tab at the zipper top, thumb loop at zipper bottom.
* Foot loops at bottom of bag for airing to dry or hanging for storage.
* Bags are Mateable in both regular and long lengths. (ex. - You can order a mummy regular (left) and it will mate with a mummy long (right).)
* Urethane coated oxford nylon stuff sacks and separate cotton storage bags to avoid compression and maintain breathability when stored, are included.

...The Piute (also availble; woman\'s Piute) is a warm and cozy sleepingbag. Its price is a reflection of its quality and appears reasonable compared to other bags of similar specifictions. Its lightweight design is very useful for back packing or anytime that space is at a premium. It comes with a small stuff sack that it fits into neatly, although could be compressed further (not recomended for downbags, especially not for longer periods of time).
The hood offers superb protection from the cold although it could possibly benefit from a second draw string baffle around the neck.shoulders area. However the drawstring around the top of the hood to enclose around the face is confortable and good at keeping the heat in whist allowing freedom of movement.
When using this bag i (very) occasionally have a little trouble with the zip...

Brought this sleepingbag at a knockdown price on eBay, but by the time I'd finished paying the Postage and Packing costs, I discovered it wouldn't have cost me much more buying on-line direct, oh well.
It was brought for my teenage daughter to use on our camping trips, as she doesn't like the Mummy style sleepingbags, as they make her feel claustrophobic, also with this being open ended she was able to take her own pillow from home, which is a creature comfort for her.
Very nicely coloured in mainly Blues and Orange and patterned in swirls/ lines and Greek key style, very trendy looking, for the younger members of the family.
It's a 38oz Polyester filled bag, and Polyester/Cotton outer cover, un zips fully down one side, for ease of access.
Ideal for warmer camping climates and general family usage...
